Magnolia liliiflora (Tulppaanimagnolia)

Magnolias are seldom seen in Finnish gardens though they have large and exclusive flowers. Many of them are frost tender, but I have faced most problems with too alkalic or too clayey soil. One large and diligently flowering tree has already died. M.liliiflora was bought in Hungary 2017 and lives inside the green house. Neither the temperature nor the soil make problems there.
