Lychnis viscaria (Mäkitervakko)

One of the most common plants on the rock and the sandy slope. When blooming in the beginning of June all the rock turns lilac attracting a lot of different insects. L.viscaria is also the main food plant for Perzoma hydratum and Ammoconia caecimacula moths. The stem is glabrous, which has given the Finnish name "tar flower".
