Linaria vulgaris (Kannusruoho)

One of the most beautiful wild flowers with bright yellow and orange colors. It grows usually on sandy waste lands and along the roads and railways. People use often to ask the name of this striking color spot. Th flowers may be used in salads and they have some sweet-bitter taste. L.vulgaris is the main food plant to at least two night moths: Eupithecia linariata and Calophasia lunula.
