This wild perennial plant resembles very much the common nettle, at least before the white flowers appear. The leaves are partly evergreen and the long time blooming flowers white. L.album lives often close to the nettles, which can be some kind of mimicry phenomenon, at least the people do most often not dare to touch this harmless plant when growing among the nettles.
