One of the most common species on all kind of open areas. The flowers are very numerous, small and white. Usually the whole plant turns white when blooming. Usually people weed off all Galium species, because they may bury other plants under them. Galium is food plant to very many Geometrid moths, Noctuid moths and some Hawk moths, and that's why I let them always grow. Galiums also smell "summer" and are really beautiful.
