Calamagrostis arundinacea (Metsäkastikka)

A tall growing common grass, usually treated as weed by people here. But the species is hardy and quite beautiful, so it can also be used as decorative plant. In my garden it grows in many places and sometimes its growth is so strong that it tries to kill the neighbour plants. So most of Calamrostis have had a sorrow destiny to be weeded off.
