This is a very common plant everywhere on the meadows attracting also to its flowers a lot of different insects. It can reach a height of 2 meters, but in my garden it has grown only up to 1.5 meters. It has not an invasive spreading habit and usually it grows in peace with all other flowers. It is also one of the main food plants of the swallowtail butterfly Papilio machaon. In a way this Angelica is a weed and also quite difficult to eradicate, but at the same time it is beautiful, so I usually let it grow.
