Acer platanoides (Vaahtera)

Acer platanoides is usually a rather unusual tree in boreal forests and mostly seen in parks or gardens. But in my place maple is the most common original tree species of some unknown reason. It is also the most common as seedling, more than betula, pinus and picea together, which is peculiar for the boreal region. Maybe the soil is favourable for it.
