A bush with yellow flowers and blue berries. In nature L.caerulea grows jus in a restricted area in the North-East. It is protected by law and perhaps the most western original locality in Europe. The berries of wild plant are poisonous as most of the Lonicera berries in general. But the cultured variety has edible berries. It is nowadays quite common in our gardens and the winters are not any problem for this Siberian hardy plant.
