Levisticum officinale (Lipstikka)

In Apiaceae family there are many common spice plants but L.officinale is one of the most traditional of them. Though it is somehow old-fashioned it may be used in many ways in the kitchen. It is a bush-like, large herb with beautiful leaves and yellowish flower. This fast growing plant can also be used just as decoration in similar way to the common rhubarb.
