Hippophaë rhamnoides (Tyrni)

A shrub of the coastal area and sea islands. The berries are acrid but edible and used for many purposes. They have a reputation of super food, because the orange berries have very high level of vitamin C. While growing on the rugged sleets and facing countless storms this plant has bee an officio symbol of hardiness.
