Helianthemum nummularium (Päivännouto)

In Europe a common species in dry Ca-rich meadows but in Finland it is very rare and protected. The original flower color is yellow, but there have been processed for decorative use several forms with different colors. My tiny plant has reddish color. The leaves remains green over the winter and the plant is exceptionally tolerant against dry conditions.
