Glechoma hederacea (Maahumala)

A low growing land cover plant with strong odor. The multicolored leaves are winter hardy and at least partly evergreen. The problem is not too keep this plant alive, rather how to keep the neighbors alive. Glechoma has namely rapid and aggressive growth. The flowers are blue and small. Due to its aroma the plant has previously used to spice wine and beer.
