Digitalis purpurea (Sormustinkukka)

This is the classic medicine plant from which the heart glycoside digitoxin is extracted from. It means that all this beautiful flower is poisonous. Digitalis purpurea escapes easily from gardens and grows semi wild on sheltered places. Normally D.purpurea belongs to the flora of temperate region.
