Convallaria majalis (Kielo)

This tiny lily with extreme pleasant odor is growing very abundant all over Finland. In my garden it behaves unfortunately as a persistent weed, but due to its other features I usually just let it grow. C. majalis is sold in southern Europe as exotic garden plant. For us this is difficult to understand while we can find them in all grove-like forests. In each May my garden fills with the odor of the lily of the valley.
