Chaenomeles japonica (Japaninruusukvitteni)

A small bush with tiny edible apple-like fruits. The flowers of this Japanese shrub are colorful. Though it is easy to get over the winter it is seldom seen in the gardens here. Maybe because the winter rabbits seem to choose this poor bush before all other alternatives.
