Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldi (Helmimarja)

The Genus Callicarpa has many species which all have berries with bright colors. Most species are subtropical evergreen bushes but C.bodnieri looses its leaves in autumn and is told to be more winter hardy than most of the relatives. Surviving the boreal winter is anyway doubtful. I bought the plant 2019 and already in the first autumn got some ripe berries.
