One of the most often seen plants in finnish garden. It needs really no care, flowers beautifully, forming very dense carpets and killing every harmful weed trying to grow through it. Even the leaves are exotic, evergreen skinny ping pong paddles. The leaves don't taste to pest animals, not even the all eating snails. Thus a perfect plant for a lazy gardener. I bought my first plant to my first house already 1990. After sharing there are now hundreds of offsprings growing on several places. It can grow everywhere, even on stones, but on clay soil it grows very slowly or remains miniature.
